Ever so slightly softer than the steel. A favorite of Vernon Reid.

Originally when I got one of the brass picks, I smoothed it out with some 600 grit sandpaper to eliminate the scratchy-ness. This scrathy-ness returns after repeated usage, but I have come to love it. I can't chooce which I like better- the brass or the steel- it doesn't matter- they are both great. I love the fact that they wear very slowly, so they can potentially last for months if not years, as long as you don't lose them!

First received these brass babies as a gift and now can't play without them. They provide a unique sound - a solid attack with a soft tone. Awesome!

I've been using Ice Pix Brass exclusively for 10 years. The feel of the picks is perfect for me, stiff but not real thick. I think the tone I get with these is purer and more articulate than with the Tortex picks I used to use.

These picks are easy to play with, giving a clear & crisp sound. Have used them for 10 years now and wouldn't change for anything.
